My parents helped instill in me a love for travel early in life. In my twenties and thirties, it was a combination of not making the time and not having the resources of time and money to go on too many vacations or go too far away. I remember we went to Hawaii a few times, and Hong Kong a few times. As we hit our forties, we were able to prioritize and set aside enough to travel and the last few years, it’s been truly wonderful being able to see the world and work our way through Asia.
I often find myself talking about trips or destinations in conversations and it is really fascinating how much a common experience or trip can help two strangers, or new friends feel a bond.
It’s my hope, that the common love of travel, and our common experiences help to bind us together, as fellow travelers, and as friends.
