I’m Kenneth Tin, your virtual host here as you visit abettertrip.com. I’m a Real Estate broker by trade, and a photographer and travel blogger by avocation. I love to travel, take photos and videos, and then share them along with my travel experiences. I enjoy receiving feedback, sharing tips and tricks of travel, photo and video techniques, outdoor skills and more.
As the site has developed from a place to frame my photos and YouTube videos for friends to something more, I feel I should make sure that a few things are clear to my visitors and readers. As needed, I will update this page to reflect any changes.
Content. Every post, photograph, video, and page is my creation, unless I specifically say otherwise. I don’t buy content. I don’t write paid opinion posts or editorials. These are my opinions and my reviews. My reviews are honest and reflect my opinion. Right now I buy nearly everything reviewed. On the random occasion that someone sends me a sample or freebie, I can promise to review the item, but I will review it good or bad. If it sucks, I’ll say so.
Monetization. I participate in some referral and associate programs. To help support me and the site just come here first, then click on the Agoda link and search hotels as you normally do. I use Agoda extensively and I actually became an affiliate because I was so happy with my experiences with them. In both cases, using my links does not add anything to the cost of your purchase and will probably save you money. *I’ve joined an affiliate network, which allows me to link directly to more products I’d like to share with you, as well as offer sales and discount links to them as well.

Privacy. I won’t spam you. I won’t sell, lend, trade, or otherwise pass along your personal information to anyone else. I do not have any “partners” who will contact you. In fact, unless you write me personally and it begs a reply, I probably won’t contact you at all via e-mail.
